Good news for Bangladesh cricket fans! Vice-captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz is coming back to the team for the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka starting from June 25 in Colombo. Team manager Nafees Iqbal said, “He’s feeling much better and was at the ground today.”
Mehidy was absent in the first Test after being sick and missed two training sessions and the team brought in Anamul Haque Bijoy as his replacement. Anamul didn’t do much and got out for a duck in the first innings.

Mehidy was in great form, he was a key player in Bangladesh’s recent Test series win against Zimbabwe and was even named ICC Player of the Month for April. He’ll also be the ODI captain for the next year.
