Hasin Jahan, Mohammed Shami’s ex-wife, is saying he paid to harm, defame and harass her during their 7 year long legal battle. She called him characterless, greedy and mean-minded, saying he spent family money on goons and prostitutes.
Jahan posted this on Instagram on Friday, July 4. This comes just days after the Calcutta High Court ordered him to pay her and their daughter Aaira Rs 4 lakh monthly in their divorce case. The couple was married for 4 years and their marriage ended in 2018 when Jahan, a former model, accused Shami of domestic violence.
“I love you so much jaanu ❤️ Milegi? Kahi mere jaisi biwi jo itni shiddat se rishta nibhae? ‘Don’t worry my love,’ marte dam tak ham ek mazboot rishta nibhaenge inshallah, bas decide apko karna hai wo mazboot rishta hoga kaisa!”
“7 sal se hamlog legal battle me involved hai. Kya faida hua apko? Characterless, greedy, mean minded hone ke karan apna khud ka hi family barbad kar dia. Kitne criminals kharida apne hame marne ke lie, badnaam karne ke lie, pareshan karne ke lie. Kuch hasil hua apko?”
“Jo paise haraamkhoro ko dia, beshyao par lootaya, wo paise agar apni beti ki education, life and future ke lie kharch kia hota, aur mujhe achi zindagi dete to kitna acha hota. Gunah se bhi bach jate aur ham ek izzat ki zindagi jee sakte the.”
“Dekho Allah ne mujhe kitni himmat, bardasht aur sabar dia hai. Mai still haq ki ladai me khadi hu. Ap poori duniya ke criminals ka sath le lo, fir bhi mera kuch bigar nahi paoge, kyunki mera sath supreme power Allah ka hai. Shukar Alhamdulillah.”
“Ap male-dominated society ka faida uthae aur khush rahe k unsocial log mujhe galat kehta hai. Mai kanoon ka sahara lekar hamari sare rights lungi aur khush rahungi, inshallah. Ab ap hi sochiye konsa support jayda acha hai — saamajik ya kanooni?”
“Yad rakhna, jitne bhi unsocial log apko moral support de rahe hai, wo apki gunahon par support de raha hai. Jis din apka waqt bura shuru hoga, yehi log apka jina haram kar dega, inshallah. Yakin rakhiye.”
Till I die we will have a strong relationship, Inshallah, Jahan wrote on Instagram. The only question is what kind of relationship that will be. We have been fighting in court for 7 years. What has it gotten you? Being characterless, greedy and mean-minded destroyed your own family, she added.
How many goons did you bribe to harm me, ruin my reputation, bother me and beat me at every turn? Did it get you anywhere? If you had used the money you wasted on goons and prostitutes for your daughter’s education, her life, her future and to give me a good life, things would have been much better. You would have avoided sin and we could have lived with respect and dignity, she said.
Shami has said he is innocent. He has kept his spot in the Indian team and has got many IPL contracts.
You took advantage of a male dominated society and were happy while bad people said I was wrong. Now I will use the law to claim our rights and live happily, Inshallah.
