14. Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka, 1st Test, Chattogram, 2022: 4 batters
In a Chattogram test of 2022 which ended in a draw, the Sri Lankan side who won the toss chose to bat and put up 397 runs on the board in the first innings.

In the New Year’s test at Mount Maunganu, Bangladesh managed to dismiss New Zealand for 328 runs and then they replied with a massive total of 458 runs with 88 and 86 from Mominul and Litton respectively.
The partnership was additionally strengthened by opener Mahumudul Hasan Joy (78) and Shanto (64) as they won the first test by 8 wickets.
12. Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, Only Test, 2021: 4 batters
The summer of 2021 saw Bangladesh in Zimbabwe playing a lone Test in Harare.
After Mominul Haque won the toss and opted to bat first, he lead the side with a score of 70, followed by Mahmudullah’s 150* at the end of the innings accompanied by Taskin Ahmed’s 75 and Litton Das’ 95.
Having amassed a total of 468 runs in the first innings, they eventually triumphed by a margin of 220 runs.
11. Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, Only Test, 2020: 4 batters
After Zimbabwe’s total of 265, Mushfiqur played a magnificent innings of 203*(318) and Mominul came at number 4 and scored 132. Besides, Litton Das and Shanto contributed 53 and 71 runs respectively to the team’s total of 560/6 (dec.).
Bangladesh victoriously concluded the game with a win by an inning and 106 runs.
10. Bangladesh vs West Indies, 2nd Test, 2018: 4 batters
During the emphatic innings of 184 runs victory that Bangladesh inflicted on the visiting West Indies, Mahmudullah made a century of 136(242) with the support of his partners, Shadman Islam (76), captain Shakib (80), and Litton Das (54) who all contributed in the making of the match.
Thanks to the bowlers, they did not have to bat again in the game.
9. Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka, 1st Test, 2018: 4 batters
In the first Test of the series in Chattogram, Mominul Haque hit a superb 176(214) scoring first for his team and was joined by Tamim with a score of 52(53), Mushfiqur Rahim with a score of 92(192) and captain Mahamudullah with a score of 83*(134).
The burgess quartet made the total reach 513 runs but Sri Lanka’s 713/9 (dec.) and Bangladesh’s 307/5 (dec.) in the following innings resulted in the match being drawn.
8. Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka, 2nd Test, 2017: 4 batters
In the memorable series draw between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, where the former also won their first Test in Sri Lanka, the batting unit piled up 467 runs in reply to the latter’s first innings total of 338.
Shakib Al Hasan was the top scorer with a fine 116 runs off 159 balls while his partner at the other end Soumya Sarkar made 61 runs off 121 balls, followed by the captain Mushfiqur’s 52(81) and Mosaddek Hossain’s 75(155) lower down the order.
After taking a lead of 129 runs in the first innings, they eventually won the match by 4 wickets.
7. Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka, 1st Test, 2013: 4 batters
Among the Asian giants, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, there were many historical combats over the years.
The same happened when the visiting Bangladesh scored 638 runs as against Sri Lanka’s 570/4 (dec.) in the first innings.

Bangladesh hopes for better performance with a resilient first innings score of 419 runs in Mirpur as England started their tour to Bangladesh 2009/10.

5. Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 1st Test, 2005: 4 batters
The first innings of the winning team, the Lions of Bangladesh, was characterized by a fantastic display of power hitting that resulted in their emphatic 226-run win over the visiting Zimbabwe team in Chattogram.
The duo of Nafees Iqbal (56) and captain Habibul Bashar (94) opened the innings, followed by Rajin Saleh (89) and the speedy Muhammad Rafique (69), who finished with a flourish, were the batters with fifites to guide them to 488 runs. They ended up winning the clash on the fifth day.
4. Bangladesh vs Pakistan, 1st Test, 2024: 5 batters
In the Rawalpindi Test, one of the most significant moments in cricket history, the Bangladeshi batters had an easy time as they took the lead in the first innings by 117 runs in reply to Pakistan’s 448/6 (dec.) innings.
Mushfiqur Rahim, the man of the moment, made a perfect exhibition of his skills with 191(341), whereas the other opener Shadman Islam contributed 93(183) to the total and Mominul scored 50(76). 3. Bangladesh vs Pakistan, 1st Test, 2021: 5 batters
Tamim Iqbal provided the underdog Bangladeshi side a bright moment with his 90(101) when they batted first in the away match in Pallekele. After losing the opening partner shortly, Tamim added 144(222) with Shanto.
The latter ultimately reached 163(378) and also had a 242-run partnership with the then captain Mominul, who got a brave 127(304). The next two batsmen, Mushfiqur and Litton, supported the team with 68 (156) and 50(67), which helped them in setting a target of 541/7 (dec.).
The match ended in a stalemate due to the combined forces of Dimuth Karunaratne’s 244 and Dhananjaya de Silva’s 166, Sri Lanka who thus made 648 runs.
2. Bangladesh vs New Zealand, 1st Test, 2017: 5 batters
The Bangladesh squad was on its first visit to New Zealand for a Test series since 2009/10, and the batsmen were in the right mindset right from the start in Wellington when they made 595/8 (dec.) in the first innings.
The senior professionals, Shakib Al Hasan and captain Mushfiqur Rahim, with their scores of 217 and 159, respectively, shared the huge partnership of 359(495) for the fifth wicket. Besides them, Tamim (56) and Mominul (64) were once more among the scorers along with Sabbir Rahman’s 54.
They were ahead by 56 runs in the first innings, yet the match was lost to the opponents who successfully chased down 217 runs, thus winning by 7 wickets.
1. Bangladesh vs West Indies, 1st Test, 2012: 5 batters
Five batsmen with fifty-plus scores from the Bangladeshi side helped them not only to end their innings at 558 but also to gain a 31-run lead over the touring West Indies 527/4 (dec.) who had a double-century from Shivnarine Chanderpaul and hundreds from Kieran Powell and Denesh Ramdin.
