This innings played a key role in setting a competitive score of 250 on a challenging pitch. Later, he faced Australia in the semi-finals, contributing with 45 runs off 62 balls to help the team secure a victory. He wrapped up the tournament with 48 runs off 62 balls in the final, helping India overcome New Zealand and take home the Champions Trophy.
