Swastik Chikara, a player for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, recently made some waves after he confessed to swiping a bit of Virat Kohli’s perfume without permission. On Thursday, during a team gathering for Kohli’s 20th birthday celebration, Chikara took his antics up a notch by playfully asking for a couple of watches from Kohli’s impressive collection.
In a cute video shared by the team, you could see Chikara, who’s known for his lively personality, having a blast as he celebrated with a birthday cake. At one point, he fed Kohli a piece of cake but playfully held onto his finger, leading Kohli to jokingly say, At least, leave my finger!
Swastik Chikara hits the big 2️⃣0️⃣ and that’s plenty to cheer about! 🤩

Chikara then looked straight at the camera and said, “Virat bhai se 2-3 ghadi gift karwa do,” which translates to asking Kohli to hook him up with a few watches. It was all in good fun, and after that, he joined the rest of his teammates for some more birthday antics. There was a bit of cake smashing involved, and he even managed to feed some cake to Dinesh Karthik, the batting coach, and Andy Flower, the head coach.
Despite having lost their game to the Gujarat Titans just the day before, the atmosphere in the RCB camp seemed pretty upbeat. Chikara, who’s only 19 and hails from Ghaziabad, really caught everyone’s attention last month when he scored the fastest fifty in the UP T20 League, blasting 85 runs off just 27 balls.
By that time, he had already made a name for himself in List A cricket, scoring 117 runs off 101 balls on his debut against Himachal Pradesh in November. He also made his first-class debut in the Ranji Trophy against Bengal, putting up a respectable score of 41 runs from 74 balls in his first innings. Though he made his T20 debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in November, that game didn’t quite go the way he hoped. As of now, he still hasn’t had a chance to play for Bengaluru yet, but it looks like he’s making sure to keep things lively while he waits for that opportunity.
