IPL 2026 is around the corner and teams are gearing up for a potentially explosive 19th season. IPL 2025 saw some new faces shine, so here are five uncapped players who might be on the move:
1. Ashutosh Sharma: DC to PBKS
DC got Ashutosh Sharma for INR 3.8 crore in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction after he was with Punjab Kings in 2024. He started well but faded. DC might trade him and PBKS might get him.
2. Anuj Rawat: GT to RCB, DC
Gujarat Titans bought Anuj Rawat for INR 30 Lakh in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Before that he was with Royal Challengers Bengaluru for three years. GT didn’t play Rawat in IPL 2025. GT might trade Rawat and RCB and Delhi Capitals are interested.
3. Sameer Rizvi: DC to GT, LSG
Delhi Capitals bought Sameer Rizvi as a player to watch for INR 95 Lakh last year. He played a bit, scored 121 runs in five matches. DC might trade him and Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants might make a bid.
4. Anshul Kamboj: CSK to LSG, RR
Chennai Super Kings picked up Anshul Kamboj for INR 3.40 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. He took eight wickets in eight matches. A trade is likely and LSG and RR are the possible destinations.
5. Akash Madhwal : RR to MI
Rajasthan Royals bought Akash Madhwal for INR 1.2 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. He was with Mumbai Indians earlier. He didn’t get many chances in IPL 2025. RR might trade him and MI might try to get him back.
6. Sanju Samson : RR to CSK
Wicketkeeper Sanju Samson has been a big name in the Rajasthan Royals squad since 2013. But in IPL 2025 Samson mostly played as a pure batter. After the end of IPL 2025 there are also many reports coming that RR might release or transfer Samson ahead of the IPL 2026 auction.
7. Quinton De Kock: Trade from KKR to DC
Quinton de Kock, who played for KKR in IPL 2025 struggled except one good innings. KKR will likely trade or release him for IPL 2026.
8. Ruturaj Gaikwad : Trade from CSK to RR
CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad might be traded. Due to injury in IPL 2025, Ayush Mhatre stepped up. CSK might trade Gaikwad.
9. Liam Livingstone: Trade from RCB to CSK
Liam Livingstone didn’t meet the expectations of RCB who won IPL 2025. He might be traded before IPL 2026.
10. Glenn Maxwell: Trade from PBKS MI,DC or RCB
Maxwell had a poor season after returning to Punjab Kings. He might be on the move again.
