Travis Head, the opening batsman for Sunrisers Hyderabad, having passed the COVID-19 protocols, will be making his comeback against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. He had missed the last game against Lucknow due to COVID-19, but now, according to bowling coach James Franklin, he is ready to go. “As far as I know, he’s fit and ready for selection,” said Franklin.
Head hasn’t had the best season so far, having scored 281 runs in 11 matches at a strike rate of 156.11, while he was amazing last year and helped the team reach finals against Kolkata Knight Riders. In 2025, the initial promise was there but he found it difficult to convert his starts into big scores.
