After two months of action on the mat, the Pro Kabaddi League 2024 is coming to a close. Twelve teams battled it out in 132 league stage games to decide the top six teams who have booked their playoff spots.
The playoffs of the Pro Kabaddi League 2024 will get underway on December 26, with two eliminators to take place on Thursday. Pune’s Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi is all decked up to host the playoff stage.

Pro Kabaddi League 2025: Journey to the Playoffs
Haryana Steelers: The Steelers topped the points table with 84 points. They zoomed past their opponents in 16 of their 22 matches. The Steelers have directly qualified for the semi-finals.
Dabang Delhi K.C.: Delhi stormed their way to the second spot after securing 13 wins in 22 matches. They earned 81 points out of their 22 matches to move straight into the semi-finals.
UP Yoddhas: The Yoddhas finished third in the standings with 79 points. They also won 13 games, but an extra loss meant they finished below Dabang Delhi.
Patna Pirates: The Pirates sealed their playoff spot by ending up in fourth place. The three-time PKL winners sneaked in 13 victories and earned 79 points.
U Mumba: A crucial win in their last league game propelled the season two winners U Mumba to the fifth spot. They were sitting below Jaipur Pink Panthers and level with Telugu Titans on 66 points. But a win over Bengal Warriorz handed them important five points to ease past the Panthers.
Jaipur Pink Panthers: The Panthers were almost certain of a playoff berth, having collected 69 points from 21 games. They were aiming to finish at five, but a close loss against Delhi pushed them down to six. The Panthers won 12 games and garnered 70 points.

Pro Kabaddi League 2024: Eliminator 1
The third-placed UP Yoddhas will take on the sixth-placed Jaipur Pink Panthers in the first eliminator on December 26. The Yoddhas are riding on their core strength while the Panthers are banking on their star raider, Arjun Deshwal. UP are coming into the clash with four consecutive wins, while the Panthers will hope to bounce back from their last league game defeat.
Pro Kabaddi League 2024: Eliminator 2
Two former PKL champions, Patna Pirates and U Mumba, will be against each other in the second eliminator. The pair of Devank and Ayan are expected to lead Patna’s attack, while Ajith Chauhan and Rohit Raghav will command U Mumba’s attack and defence. Both teams will look to add another PKL title to their cabinet.
Pro Kabaddi League 2024: Semi-Final 1
Table toppers Haryana Steelers have cruised into the first semi-final. They are awaiting their opponent, with one of the Yoddhas and Panthers to play against them on December 27. The Steelers will look to end the season with their maiden title.

Riding on an unbeaten streak of 15 games, Dabang Delhi K.C. have reached the second semi-final. The season eight champions will look to extend their undefeated run in the semi-final and enter the final to land their second PKL title.

After an intense league stage and playoff stage, the PKL 2024 will culminate with the final on December 29. The winners of both semi-finals will have a last chance to come on top and claim the title. It will be interesting to see which of the two sides makes it to the summit clash.
