The Ekana Cricket Stadium is the home to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL. The venue with a 50,000 seating capacity was inaugurated in 2017.
It took another year to host the first-ever match here, though the venue hasn’t hosted a lot of international cricket yet. But the IPL fixtures are a regular affair every summer as LSG take on their opponents at this ground.
Having said that, here’s a look at the IPL records and stats at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Since 2023, the Ekana Cricket Stadium has hosted 15 matches in the IPL. And the venue has turned out to be balanced for teams.
It’s not a high-scoring venue since it has a slow wicket. There’s only one instance of a team scoring more than 200 runs in Lucknow, with most of the matches ranging between 130 and 180.
Even if a team posts the par score of 165, they can make a game out of it with ease. And then spinners play a heavy role as the slow surface offers a lot of help.
