As we know, the women’s T20 World Cup is happening in Dubai. India has registered its maiden win by beating Pakistan by 6 wickets. The Indian women’s team chased down a target of 106 runs in the 18th over.
But in the last stage of the game, a massive neck injury scares the Indian skipper, Harmanpreet Kaur. It all happens before the last delivery of the game.
In the 18th over, Pakistani all-rounder Nida Dar comes to bowl; at that time, Team India needs 3 runs in 2 overs. On the 4th delivery of the over, H. Kaur is on strike. Nida Dar tossed up a delivery outside off. Harmanpreet made room and tried to dab it down. But she missed and lost her balance.
Then Harmanpreet held her neck, and she seemed to be in some pain. The team physio came to attend her. But, Kaur looked serious. So she walked off the field, retired hurt, with teary eyes.
