The Australian domestic Twenty20 format Women’s Big Bash League also known as WBBL is yet to have its semi-finals and finals very soon. It is one of the premier domestic T20 cricket tournaments for women. In this league a total of 8 teams competed and battled throughout 40 matches which have already taken place to qualify for the semi-final match.
WBBL not only gave a chance to the national level players of Australia but also the new emerging talents from Australia as well as overseas. The much-awaited semi-final and finals for the tournament are soon to take place.

Journey to the Semi-Finals
A total of 8 teams participated in the tournament; namely; Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Sixers, and Sydney Thunder.
Each team has played a total of 10 matches in the tournament to compete to make their spot in the semi-finals and finals. And on the basis of their performance, top four teams have qualified to appear in the semi-finals:
- Melbourne Renegades Women (MR-W): MR-W is at the top of the table in this tournament with 14 points and a great 0.527 NRR. Melbourne Renegades Women has proved to be the best and most dominant team of the tournament.
- Brisbane Heat Women (BH-W): BR-W is on the second number when it comes to its points as it has 14 points similar to that of MR-W but has 0.384 NRR which makes it stand on the second position in the tournament.
- Sydney Thunder Women (ST-W): ST-W stands at third with 13 points and -0.002 NRR
- Hobart Hurricanes Women (HH-W): HH-W has accumulated 10 points and has 0.189 NRR which makes it on the fourth position and has to fight for its position in finals.
