New Zealand’s summer will get spicier as the men’s Super Smash returns with a new season. The Super Smash 2024-25 edition will start on Boxing Day (December 26, 2024) and conclude on February 2, 2025.
Six regional teams from New Zealand will contest in the thrilling T20 league. Defending champions Auckland Aces will take on Northern Brave in the season opener in Hamilton.
The Super Smash 2024-25 follows a double round-robin format, meaning teams play twice against each other. In the group stage, teams will play 10 matches each.
The top team will gain direct access to the final, while the second and third sides will battle it out in the eliminator. The winner of the eliminator will then book a berth in the final slated for February 2, 2025.
