9. Bangladesh | 2 Wins
Bangladesh have made it to the Champion Trophy only five times. And their record is also petty, winning only two matches out of their 12 appearances.
Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 101 runs in 2006 and New Zealand by five wickets in 2017.
8. Pakistan | 11 Wins
Pakistan have had a top-turvy ride in Champions Trophy history, bowing out early from the first edition to winning the title in 2017. They defeated archrivals India in the final of the eighth edition.
Since the inaugural tournament, Pakistan have managed to win 11 matches out of their 24 appearances.
7. South Africa | 12 Wins
South Africa are known as ‘chokers’ when it comes to ICC tournaments. But they were the inaugural winners of the Champions Trophy back in 1998.
This is the only major ICC event the Proteas have managed to win thus far. They have featured in 24 matches in this tournament, registering victories in 12 of them.
6. New Zealand | 12 Wins
Just like South Africa, New Zealand have been pretty unlucky in ICC events, falling short of winning ODI World Cups and T20 World Cups on several occasions. But it’s a completely different story in the Champions Trophy.
The Kiwis managed to win the competition in the second edition, ending their ICC trophy drought. In all, New Zealand have logged 12 wins out of 24 matches.
5. Australia | 12 Wins
There is no other that has dominated ICC events quite like Australia. The Aussies are one of the two teams to win the Champions Trophy twice.
But it wasn’t a smooth ride all along. Their tournament journey was quite shaky, getting knocked out from the first two editions after playing one game each.
But Australia showcased their brilliance under Ricky Ponting’s captaincy, winning the trophy in back-to-back editions in 2006 and 2009. Overall, they have won half of their 24 matches, commanding a win percentage of 50.
4. West Indies | 13 Wins
The West Indies couldn’t qualify for the 2017 and the upcoming 2025 champions trophy editions. But once they were a dominating force in world cricket.
The Caribbean side showcased their might in the Champions Trophy between 1998 and 2013. The Men in Maroon won 13 matches out of 24, registering a win percentage of 54.17.
They also entered the finals of the tournament three times, managing to lay their hands on the trophy in 2004.

3. Sri Lanka | 14 Wins
Sri Lanka makes it to the third place on this list. They were the joint winners of the 2002 Champions Trophy along with India.
Overall, the Sri Lankans have appeared in 27 games and returned victorious in 14, logging a win percentage of 51.85.
2. England | 14 Wins
The founders of cricket, England, are the second-most successful team in the Champions Trophy. They have played 25 matches across eight editions, winning 14 of them and giving them a win percentage of 56.
Thus far, England have made it to the final in two editions in 2004 and 2013 but ended up as runners-up both times, losing against the West Indies and India, respectively.

India are the most successful team in ICC Champions Trophy history. They have featured in all eight editions of the mini-World Cup from 1998 to 2017.
The Men in Blue have emerged victorious in 18 of their 29 matches, which takes their win percentage to 62.06. The Indian team has also won the Champions Trophy twice, in 2002 and 2013.
