The eight edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) tournament will commence from July 5 to August 4 across five cities in the state. This season will witness a total of 8 teams in the series competing against one other to make it to the finale of the tournament including the Salem spartans, Dindigul, Chepauk Super Gillies and Lyca Kovai Kings.
With these teams participating the Salem city fans are all ready to support their home team in the tournament. The Salem Spartans are filled with talented players and experienced players with a batting line up of top-class batters and a whole bunch of all-rounders like ivek R, Vishal Vaidhya K, Ganesh Moorthi M, Jaganath Sinivas R S, Sunny Sandhu, Muhammed Adnan Khan, Selva Kumaran N, Harish Kumar S, Shijit Chandran P, Poiyamozhi M, Aushik Srinivas R, and Tharun Kumar. Spartans are ready to make it to the final and will try to get hold of their first-ever title of the championship.

Most matches are scheduled to commence at 7.15pm under floodlights and some of them are scheduled in the afternoon hours at 3:15 PM. This season will feature a total of seven double headers and a reserve day is kept for all playoff matches so that teams get a fair chance to qualify for the finals.
