The Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 11 season will kick off with a repeat of last year’s final between Melbourne Renegades and Brisbane Heat. The tournament begins with three games in Brisbane and Perth.
The WBBL|11 schedule has 43 games over 35 days from November 9 to December 13.
The season is starting two weeks later than normal due to the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in India which ends on November 2.
Brisbane who lost last season’s final will be looking to get even when they play the champions at Allan Border Field on the first day.
After that Hobart Hurricanes will play Sydney Thunder at the same venue. Then the Scorchers will play Sydney Sixers at the new WACA Ground in Perth.
The next day Melbourne Stars will play Adelaide Strikers at the CitiPower Centre. All eight teams will play their first games in the first two days.

The finals series is the same as before, top team hosts the final on December 13. Third and fourth placed teams play each other on December 9, winner plays second placed team on December 11 for a spot in the final.
