Angkrish Raghuvanshi, the Mumbai opener who also plays for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), had to leave the Mumbai Emerging Team’s England tour due to a thumb injury. He has a small fracture in his right thumb and has gone back home for treatment.
The Mumbai Emerging Team started their month-long England trip on June 28. Suryansh Shedge is the captain. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) had organized the tour so young players could get better and gain experience playing abroad.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi Withdraws From Emerging Tour
Gaurav Gupta from the Times of India said that the MCA hasn’t named a replacement for Raghuvanshi yet. The injury happened during the tour and he couldn’t play.
