The ICC released the women’s weekly rankings on Tuesday, July 29 and England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt is now the No. 1 ODI batswoman, pushing Smriti Mandhana to second place.
Sciver-Brunt’s return to the top is her first time in 2025 after a strong series against India. Although England lost 1-2, Sciver-Brunt scored 160 runs in three matches with an average of 53.33. Her 98 in the third ODI helped her reach the top with 731 points. Mandhana had a decent series but didn’t quite match Sciver-Brunt’s performance. She scored 115 runs in three innings and is now second with 728 points.

Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur’s performance in the series paid off as she jumped 10 places to 11th. This is because of her century in the third and series-deciding match in Durham. The 36-year-old scored 102 off 84 balls and has 732 points. Jemimah Rodrigues moved up two places to 13th.
There were no changes in the bowler’s rankings. Deepti Sharma remains India’s highest-ranked bowler at 4th. No other Indian bowler is in the top 10 after Deepti, Sneh Rana is the next highest at 21st. Deepti took one wicket in the series.
