The ongoing vitality blast after a total of 133 T20 matches has reached its knockout stage and after four quarter finals it will reach the Semi- finale of the tournament. The contenders for this are Surrey, Durham, Sussex, Lancashire, Northamptonshire, Somerset, Warwickshire, and Gloucestershire. After playing in the quarter finals only four teams will move to the semi finals followed by the final of the 22nd edition.
Launched in the year 2003 the T20 Blast, officially known as the Vitality Blast, is a professional Twenty20 cricket league based in England and Wales. This tournament features a total of 18 teams competing in a group stage followed by knockout rounds. The most recent champion is Somerset, who won their second title in 2024. Historically, the Leicestershire Foxes and Hampshire Hawks have each claimed three titles, making them the most successful teams in the tournament’s history
The season started on May 30, 2024 and is now heading to its finale which is scheduled to take place on September 14, 2024. And is the 22nd edition of the T20 Blast series.

Vitality T20 Blast 2024 Quarter Finals
A total of 18 teams have participated in the tournament where teams are divided into two groups of nine teams. Following long stages of league stage matches the teams first will go into quarter finals and then after 4 quarter finals matches these teams will go into two semi final matches. The teams to qualify for the quarter finals are Surrey, Durham, Sussex, Lancashire, Northamptonshire, Somerset, Warwickshire, and Gloucestershire.

After these quarter final matches, only four winners will move to the semi-finale of the tournament where they will get into two semi finals battles. And then after these knockout stages the winners would directly move to the finale of the league.
Vitality T20 Blast 2024 Quarter Finals: Quarter Final Teams
Quarter Final 1: Surrey vs Durham
The first Quarter Final match would be played between Surrey vs Durham. Performing excellently for the whole of the season the Surrey team has shown a great performance. Playing in a total of 14 matches, Surrey has won 9 matches and lost three matches. Whereas on the other hand Durham has also played 14 matches where it has won just 7 matches with four losses and one no result match. Winner of this match will move forward to the semi final stage of the Vitality T20 Blast.
Quarter Final 2: Sussex vs Lancashire
The Quarter final 2 match of the Vitality T20 Blast would be played between Sussex and Lancashire. Both the teams have played 14 matches where Sussex has won nine and Lancashire has just won 7 matches and four losses. Both the teams are sitting in the top four teams of their respective groups.

Quarter Final 3: Northamptonshire vs Somerset
The Quarter final three of the vitality blast is scheduled to take place on september 5 at 11:00 PM. In this match Northamptonshire will take on Somerset at the County Ground, in Northampton. Both the teams have faced different teams in their respective groups. Playing in a total of 14 matches Somerset has won 8 matches with 5 losses and Northamptonshire has won 8 matches and 4 losses.

Quarter Final 4: Warwickshire vs Gloucestershire
The Quarter final 4 match of the Vitality Blast T20 is scheduled to take place between Warwickshire and Gloucestershire. Having played a total of 14 matches both the teams will get in a clash after playing league stage matches. Warwickshire has registered a total of 10 wins and 4 losses for the 14 matches it played. On the other hand, Gloucestershire has only won 7 matches with 6 losses and 1 no result match.
Following these matches the qualifying winner teams of the series will move forward to play in the semi-finals stage of the tournament. Which would be played on the same day of the finale of the tournament. The teams will first face each other in the semi finals and then the winners of these matches would be the ultimate finalists of the tournament.
