The opening one-day international matchup between South Africa and Pakistan was the one where Quinton de Kock, the veteran South African wicketkeeper-batter, broke the record by making a knock that was the highest till that date. 5) David Richardson – 149 runs
Legendary wicketkeeper-batter for South Africa, David John Richardson, was a wicketkeeper-batter with a remarkable career and he retired in 1998. The right-hand batsman scored 149 runs in a total of 15 matches played against Pakistan, his average being 24.83, and he faced 199 balls at a strike rate of 74.87.
He accounted for 1 half-century and 10 fours which were total boundaries during the batting of the South African side in the Pakistan ODIs. He was also part of the country’s main squad in 42 Test matches, however, his ODI record of 122 shows how much he loved the game.

Heinrich Klaasen, the 34-year-old right-handed batter, is one of the best T20I batsmen ever. Not to mention that even his success over Pakistan in ODIs is astonishing. The best Klassen score against Pakistan is 97, made from 283 balls and with a strike rate of 125.44. He scored four fifties, hit 11 sixes, and made 38 boundaries.
3) Mark Boucher – 477 Runs
Mark Boucher was a prominent and indispensable player in South African team crisis over his entire career until 2012. The powerful right-handed batsman, famous for his aggressive play in a short, heavy frame, sometimes contributed the vital quick 30 or 40 runs that were decisive in close matches.

The 32-year-old player has always been a daring ball seizer and will always be a source of amazement with his graceful stroke making.
