3. Mohammed Siraj vs. Ben Duckett
With Jasprit Bumrah likely to rest, Mohammed Siraj will lead India’s pace attack in the second Test. He may not have taken many wickets in Leeds but he kept the England batsmen on their toes. A big battle will be between him and Ben Duckett early on. Duckett after scoring a century in the 4th innings of the first Test has scored 108 runs off Siraj without being dismissed. Expect some fireworks when these two face off.
4. Prasidh Krishna vs. Joe Root
Prasidh Krishna took 5 wickets in Leeds but his economy was over 6 runs an over. That won’t work against Joe Root who loves batting at Edgbaston with 920 runs at an average of 70.76. He also averages 75.22 against India at home. Prasidh needs to control his bowling early or Root will take over the game.
