The women ‘s Asia cup is back again for its ninth edition this year. This is a twenty twenty International format cricket tournament which will be organized on the Sri-lankan Land from 19 – 28 July 2024.
This year will feature a total of eight teams, that include the four full time members of the Asian Cricket Council – Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and the other four teams are Malaysia, Nepal, Thailand and United Arab Emirates.
The Women’s Selection Committee announced Team India’s Senior Women squad for the upcoming Women’s Asia Cup T20, 2024, scheduled to take place in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, on 6th July2024, Saturday.

The Indian team would be playing three matches against Pakistan, United Arab Emirates and the last being against Nepal in the group stage matches. The top two teams from each group will then move to semi-finals and then will lead to the final of the tournament clash.
The reigning champions, India, are eager to defend their Women’s Asia Cup title. Their quest to secure the trophy again begins on July 19 with a highly anticipated match against their traditional rivals, Pakistan.
India is the most successful team of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 T20 format having won titles for the title thrice in the year 2012, 2016 and then in 2022 and has been the runner ups of the 2018 edition.
