Andre Russell is said to be one of the most formidable hitters in the game of cricket. He may not be at his absolute peak right now, but he should still be able to decimate the top bowlers. In the 48th match of the IPL 2025 between DC and KKR, he displayed that talent by slamming a giant 106-meter six against Mitchell Starc during the last over of the first innings.
Starc bowled a low full toss, and Russell smashed it down the ground. This was the second-longest six in IPL 2025, equal to Abhishek Sharma, who also had a six of the same length this season. According to the reports, the longest six was of 107 meters by Heinrich Klaasen against MI in Hyderabad. Other players with 105-meter sixes into the list are Travis Head and Phil Salt.
