Former captains of the Indian cricket team, Dilip Vengsarkar and Diana Edulji, have been appointed Cricket Advisors to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). The decision was made during the Apex Council Meet held on Monday. The intention is to strengthen state cricket, giving hope to the future.
According to the MCA President Ajinkya Naik, the involvement of Vengsarkar would be vital for grassroots cricket, while Edulji still remains an inspiration for many.
