The Chennai Super Kings may be considering shaking up the setup for next season, with Raina hinting at possible changes in the coaching staff starting from the batting coach, currently Hussey. While commentating on the match against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad, Raina said that his old team is looking for a batting coach for the next season.
Aakash Chopra, also commentating, tried to get Raina to name the candidate by asking if the coach’s name started with ‘S’. Raina then made things worse by saying, “He has made the fastest fifty.” Chopra joked, “Chalo ho gaya bhai (then it is done), you heard it first here.”
