The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) gave Dilip Vengsarkar and Diana Edulji the Lifetime Achievement Award on Thursday for being awesome at cricket.

Vengsarkar was a big part of the 1983 World Cup-winning team. He was the captain of India for 10 Test matches and 18 ODIs. Later, he became the MCA Vice-President and the head of BCCI’s Selection Committee. Edulji played cricket for over 17 years and was one of the first to really push women’s cricket in India.
Prof. Ratnakar Shetty and Pravin Barve, who used to be MCA Vice-Presidents, also got the Lifetime Achievement Award for helping run cricket well.
MCA President Ajinkya Naik said that the awards show how much hard work and amazing skill there is in Mumbai cricket.
