Former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu has stepped into YouTube, and this one is not political. He recently inaugurated his channel Navjot Sidhu Official from Amritsar, where he plans to share clips from his life besides the glamorous front. And what more? It is all about Sidhu and nothing else.

“I will share everything about my life on this channel-cricket, spirituality, health, comedy, lifestyle, and motivation-everything except politics,” Sidhu sadly reported. This is not a complete cricketer-turned-YouTuber thing. Sidhu, however, hopes to have some fun too with many dressing-room stories and spiritual insights, maybe with a classic Sidhu-Sidhu quote flying in for good measure.

He is an opener, a TV commentator, a judge for reality shows, a politician, and now a storyteller. “I began with cricket, moved to commentary, and then to comedy-I am what I am through these steps. The most relevant for me would still be the IPL commentaries-fulfillment came in the political step, but joy is in commentaries,” he said.
This is also not an exercise in image-building or garnering votes, Sidhu was adamant. “Only time will tell. But no political talk on my YouTube page. I am doing this for my daughter,” he said. While his wife remains occupied with political affairs, Sidhu has other plans that focus on introspection and inspiration for the time being.

“Hard work has been my motto for anything that I have ever done and earned, be it cricket, commentary, or comedy shows. Not even a single rupee of mine has ever come from politics,” he declared candidly.
