The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is getting ready to start up the Pakistan Super League (PSL) again, even if some foreign players don’t come back, and they want to hold the final before the Bangladesh team arrives for a T20 series later this month. According to a reliable source, the PCB aims to restart the PSL by May 16 after the ‘ceasefire’ with India.
We have eight games left, including the final, so we want to get things going by May 15-16, with or without foreign players, and finish the tournament, the source said. Some overseas players are still in Dubai, while others have gone home. Franchises have been asked to reach out to the foreign players, but they’ll ultimately make their own decisions.
The PCB is also in touch with the Bangladesh Cricket Board to keep an eye on things, but it seems like things are getting back to normal, so the series is on track. Bangladesh is set to play matches in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Lahore, and the PCB plans to finish the rest of the PSL in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
