The Rajasthan Royals, having done themselves proud with a win late evening on Tuesday, capping it off against Chennai Super Kings, had by and large, a torrid year. Ninth on the points table, the board was his and their worst ever in the IPL. Now, they made 4 wins against 10 losses out of 14 games-the worst-ever season in IPL history.
And the match at Arun Jaitley Stadium was some sort of duel between two floundering teams seeking to evade last place in the IPL! They have, on occasion, produced bad seasons in the past; however, this one scores in the worst for the fewest games won. Their previous worst was by winning 5 back in 2019.
