New updates have emerged in the alleged sexual harassment case involving Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowler Yash Dayal. The woman who accuses the cricketer of mental and physical abuse in Uttar Pradesh said that Dayal was cheating on her with multiple women during their four-and-a-half year long relationship despite his family repeatedly promising to marry her.
As per Bhaskar English, the woman, a former counselor at an ed-tech firm, met Dayal on social media in late 2020. Their first meeting was in Prayagraj and then she stayed at his place multiple times and became close to his family. She was also present at the IPL 2022 Final at the Narendra Modi Stadium with his family when his previous team Gujarat Titans won as seen in the photos in the report.
The complainant said another woman who was seeing Dayal contacted her with proof of his infidelity. Despite knowing this his family continued to assure her of marriage. The report mentions that three other women have contacted the complainant with similar experiences. One woman said Dayal used the same app on their phones to buy household items. She found out he was in a Lucknow hotel on June 7 and ordered inappropriate items.
The relationship reportedly soured after two years but the woman didn’t end it and instead worked hard to gather evidence against him. She has given photos, screenshots and her statement to Ghaziabad police who have asked Dayal to explain his side of the story.

The complainant said she went on a family trip with Dayal in 2022 and went to an RCB player’s wedding this February with the bowler.
The family has denied all allegations. Dayal has not made any public statement.
The woman said the family is using Power, money and fame to hush this up, she added. She has full faith in the legal process. She said I could have left but I wouldn’t have known about his cheating. He never gave any signs. I trusted God but when I saw his family talking about me badly I decided to take legal action.
