He’s confident that if RCB can manage to beat Delhi, they will definitely make it to the playoffs this year. “If they win this match, which I believe they can, then I can assure you in writing that they will qualify for the playoffs. If they stop Delhi here, they’re in for sure,” Chopra expressed during a segment on Star Sports.
Chopra elaborated further, saying that RCB has already won three matches away from home, and if they can grab this win, they just need a few more victories on their home turf. “At home, you typically need about four or five wins; if you can win five games and you’ve already taken three outside, you’re looking at 16 points, which should secure your spot in the playoffs. There’s definitely a lot to keep an eye on,” he mentioned.
As for the teams, RCB has triumphed over formidable opponents like KKR, CSK, and MI, showing they have what it takes to compete, while Delhi Capitals have taken down teams like the Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and CSK, marking an impressive run early in the season.
