Alot is going ahead of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction and the Franchises are taking time, talking and discussing about the main leads of their teams. IPL Mega Auction 2025 would do alot of chaos in the present time teams. And will only allow the franchises with limited options to retain their fav’s in their teams. This leads the franchise to reconsider their choices for the upcoming 18th season of the league in continuations.
Among such chaos and permutation combinations one news is about the retention of Rishabh Pant, as per the Daily Jagran report(20th July) Pant is likely to leave the Delhi capitals and move to five time champions the Chennnai super kings. The franchise is not likely very happy with the player and is thinking of letting Pant go for the IPL Mega Auction which is likely to take place in the month of December to February.

If this happens then the chances of him joining CSK will increase and will also allow CSK to consider an another option for the wicketkeeper-batsman position as MS Dhoni is soon gonna be departing off the IPL Franchise, so they would highly be interested i n acquiring Rishabh pant to fill in the shoes of Dhoni.
Pant being among the most capped players of the IPL History. He started his career with the Delhi Daredevils in 2016 and made his IPL Debut against Gujarat lions and then took on the leadership never leaving the team in between.

Playing for Delhi, Pant has showcased his batting prowess with 3,284 runs at an average of 35.31 and a strike rate of 148.93. He has made an individual highest of the 128 runs and has hit one century and 18 fifties, peppering his innings with 296 fours and 154 sixes.
Pant made his IPL debut against Gujarat Lions at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 27, 2016, and played his last IPL match against Lucknow Super Giants at the same venue on May 14, 2024. Despite his consistent performances, the Delhi Daredevils are likely to release him ahead of the IPL mega auction in 2025, marking a significant shift for both the player and the franchise.
