But it wasn’t just Surya shining that day; Rohit Sharma was also on fire. He ended the match unbeaten with a robust score of 76 runs off just 45 balls, hitting four fours and six sixes along the way. His performance played a huge role in helping MI achieve their target in just 15.4 overs, losing only one wicket in the process. The two players put together a remarkable partnership of 114 runs for the second wicket, making a huge impact on the game.
Just like any other fan of MI, Surya was thrilled by Rohit’s display of skill that day. He shared his thoughts in a video on Instagram posted by IPL, commending Rohit and noting how it was a much-needed boost for both Rohit and the team.
