Great news for Mumbai Indians – it seems Trent Boult is back with the team for the remainder of IPL 2025. Boult had to leave India due to the ongoing conflict with Pakistan, but now it looks likely he will be joining the team for their remaining matches. He had been significant for MI, with 18 wickets in 12 games at a terrific strike rate of 14. His performances against SRH, LSG, and RR displayed his value after MI rated him in last year’s auction.
In peak form, this will provide a boost for MI going into their next match against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium on May 21. However, the worry about the availability of Will Jacks, Ryan Rickelton, and Corbin Bosch is also lurking in the background. They’ve been called up to join South Africa for the WTC final, and that might turn into further complications for MI.

Rickelton and Bosch are supposed to join their national team on the 26th of May for a warm-up prior to facing Zimbabwe, while Jacks has been named for England’s white-ball series versus West Indies beginning from the 29th of May. If MI reaches the playoffs, losing these three players might be disastrous for them in IPL 2025.
