Virat Kohli joined the India squad in New York on Friday ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024, following the arrival of his teammates. However, there remains uncertainty regarding his participation in the warm-up game against Bangladesh at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on June 1.

All the team members arrived earlier than Kohli and were seen on the ground practicing hard for the faceoff in the optional training session on Friday morning where Rinku Singh, Mohammad Siraj, and Shivam Dube were seen sweating out in the net practice. The team will face Ireland on June 5 in the first fixture of the T20 World Cup 2024 season.
