India’s third ICC Champions Trophy crown earned them a four-wicket triumph over New Zealand at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, sparking festivities all over the nation.

India men’s cricket team’s victory was celebrated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After their loss on home ground at the 2023 ODI World Cup, the win would also be a consolation for the Indian side and their enthusiastic followers.

Team India never lost the tournament. Before thrashing archenemy Pakistan, the Men in Blue bested Bangladesh in their first match. Eventual winners over Australia in the semi-final, India also downed New Zealand in their last league match to rise as table toppers.
