Bangladesh is set to play five T20Is in Pakistan, starting on May 25. But with the recent issues between India and Pakistan, there are questions about whether the tour will happen.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) hasn’t made a final decision yet and, according to Cricbuzz, they are currently planning to head to the UAE for two T20Is instead. The first match there is on May 17, and the second is on May 19. Initially, the plan was for the team to go straight from the UAE to Pakistan, but that changed due to rising tensions between the two countries.

BCB has confirmed that they are sticking to their plans for the UAE series. In a statement, they said, “As part of our ongoing commitment to international engagement, the Bangladesh National Team will tour the UAE for two T20 matches against the host nation.” They also mentioned that player safety is their top concern and they are in talks with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to monitor the situation.
Right now, cricket is on hold in both Pakistan and India, making it tough for Bangladesh to make the trip to Pakistan for this series.
