India is all set to take on England in a 5 match Test series starting from June 20. All eyes will be on Yashasvi Jaiswal. He’s the key for India in this series.
Jaiswal’s childhood coach spoke to Times of India and said Jaiswal will carry the same weight in the batting lineup as Sachin Tendulkar. He said, Since childhood he has always delivered when he has set his mind to it. I have seen this in many situations. He’s got a strong place in the team and if he adjusts well in the warm up games I am sure he’ll score runs. His role is very important for this Indian team.
He also hopes the batting lineup will rely on Jaiswal as they did on Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli in the past. He needs to step up and play that role. If India has to win he’ll have to carry that weight, he added.

He said Jaiswal has got great ability to adapt and learn which will keep him in the game for a long time. “He’s very confident and knows how to manage different formats and playing conditions. That’s really helped him. IPL, Rajasthan Royals and BCCI deserve some credit for this, Singh said.
