A significant rule change this year is that clubs can register and field up to 6 foreign players in a match. This is a departure from the ISL and I-League rules where teams could register 6 but only field 4 foreign players.
This change aligns with AFC regulations and is expected to increase the competitiveness and quality of matches during the Super Cup 2025.
