Tymal Mills, an English fast bowler, wasn’t allowed to show off his OnlyFans account on his bat during The Hundred, a popular cricket tournament in England where each side bats for 100 balls.
According to City AM, Mills, who captains Sussex Sharks, asked the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) if he could do it but they said no. The board said it’s a family-friendly event. The report also said Mills has accepted this decision.
Mills, who plays for Southern Brave, announced last week he’d joined OnlyFans. He wanted to promote his account by putting the logo on the back of his bat while he’s playing.
Over the last 10 years it’s become normal for cricket bats to have sponsorships on both front and back.
Mills, 32, wants to create content about his lifestyle and give fans a look into what it’s like to be a cricketer every day. He also said he’ll use his media experience to communicate better with his fans.
Mills told The Athletic, “Just so everyone is clear, there won’t be any glamour shots. This is all about cricket and lifestyle stuff. It’s new territory but I’m really excited about it.
OnlyFans is a website where you can subscribe to see content and it’s mostly known for adult material. But Mills said his content is completely safe and just a way to make some extra money.
The left-arm fast bowler said his content will give subscribers a closer, more personal look into life as a professional cricketer, adding it’s all about sharing my passion with you in a new way.
He’s not the first athlete to do this. Aussie athletes like boxers Ebanie Bridges and Cherneka Johnson and motorsport racer Renee Gracie have had OnlyFans sponsorships while competing.
Mills asked the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for permission to display the OnlyFans logo on his bat during The Hundred and they declined saying the platform doesn’t fit with The Hundred’s family-friendly image.

Mills said subscribers can expect behind-the-scenes content, candid chats, match analysis, training routines and even one-on-one mentoring sessions. He also said he’s not trying to get rich from this and wants to keep it affordable.Mills has played 16 T20 internationals for England since 2016. A left-arm quick with clever variations, he was part of the England team that won the T20 World Cup in 2022. His last appearance for the national team was in 2023.
Playing for Southern Brave in The Hundred, Mills is the leading wicket-taker in the competition with 46 wickets in 32 matches. He started the 2025 season well, taking 3 wickets against Manchester Originals on August 6.
