Fatima Sana to lead Pakistan in ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. PCB announces 15-member squad on Monday.
Uncapped Players Who Made The Cut
Eyman Fatima, a batter who played her first international matches in T20Is in Ireland recently, has been included in Pakistan’s World Cup squad according to the ICC website. The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup will be played from September 30 to November 2. Pakistan’s first match is against Bangladesh on October 2.

20-year-old Eyman Fatima impressed in Pakistan’s National T20 tournament in May. Besides Eyman, several other players are also set to make their ODI World Cup debut. These include Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar and Syeda Aroob Shah.
Colombo To Host Matches
All Pakistan’s group stage matches will be played at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo. Pakistan qualified for the tournament through the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier in April. They finished first in the Qualifier, winning all their matches, including against West Indies and Bangladesh.
Gull Feroza and Najiha Alvi, who were part of the Qualifier squad, will travel with the team as reserve players along with Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani and Waheeda Akhtar.

Squad: Fatima Sana (Captain), Muneeba Ali Siddiqui (Vice-Captain), Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Eyman Fatima, Nashra Sundhu, Natalia Parvaiz, Omaima Sohail, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Sidra Amin, Sidra Nawaz, Syeda Aroob Shah.
Reserves: Gull Feroza, Najiha Alvi, Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani, Waheeda Akhtar.
Four teams have announced their squads so far.
Pakistan vs South Africa
The same team will also play a three-match ODI series against South Africa at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from September 16 to 22.
According to PCB, the 15 players and five reserves will have a 14-day camp before the South Africa series starting from Friday, August 29. The players will have practice sessions and play 50-over matches under the guidance of Muhammad Wasim and the coaching staff.
