So the ACC situation is sorted out. BCCI will attend the Dhaka meeting online. They had earlier said they might not attend the meeting led by PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
One of the things they will discuss is where to hold the Asia Cup T20 which BCCI is supposed to host. UAE with places like Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah could be a good option.
Sri Lanka could also host since India won’t go to Bangladesh.
An ACC source told PTI that Rajeev Shukla, BCCI vice-president and ACC board member, will represent BCCI online. Since they have to decide on the Asia Cup venue, BCCI decided to attend the meeting online.

What’s BCCI’s View on Asia Cup?
BCCI had asked ACC to shift the venue and had paused their Bangladesh tour in August. They don’t want to go to Bangladesh due to political issues and lack of government.
There was a chance that BCCI, ACB and SLC would have skipped the ACC meeting. If three major Test playing countries didn’t attend, the meeting wouldn’t have been valid.
PCB chairman Naqvi is already in Dhaka for the meeting along with representatives from other member countries.
A BCB representative, who wanted to remain unnamed, said they are aware of the situation.
A BCB source said BCB is just helping with the meeting by providing logistical support, working with a liaison officer to assist member nation representatives and arrange their travel and stay.
