T20 cricket is excitement for the players and the spectators. The recent 1 Run screaming finish between KKR and Rajasthan Royals marks the 15th ever such finish in the history of the IPL. The first 1 Run win in IPL history came when Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) defeated Mumbai Indians on May 21, 2008, at Wankhede Stadium.
Then King XI Punjab secured another close win by one run against Deccan Chargers in 2009 as well. Hence they remain the only side with two wins by such an improbably narrow margin.
There were some of these nail-biters in Mumbai Indians’ life, with them winning one and then losing one by a solitary run. After losing to Kings XI Punjab in 2008, they turned around and won against Pune Warriors India in 2012.
