The Barsapara Cricket Stadium is a relatively new venue in India. Located in Assam’s Guwahati, the venue was inaugurated in 2017.
It’s only recently that the Barsapara Cricket Stadium has been hosting international matches. And since 2023, the IPL matches are also taking place at this northeast Indian venue.
The Guwahati venue serves as the second home ground for Rajasthan Royals (RR). The inaugural IPL champions have set a tradition of playing two home games in Guwahati. And they will be back here for another round in IPL 2025.
