Going on pause last week because of ongoing issues between India and Pakistan, but now, the IPL has shared a revised schedule just a few days ago presently striving for resumption on Saturday, the 17th of May. So much disruption to teams’ strategy! The final was slated for May 25 but has now got shifted to June 3.
One player who was expected to miss out on the rest of the season was RCB fast bowler Josh Hazlewood. He was supposed to play in the WTC finals but had a shoulder injury. It seemed that he would not be making a comeback. But according to a latest report from Hindustan Times, he will now be playing for RCB to achieve the trophy. After the suspension of the league, Hazlewood and other overseas players went back home. With the WTC Final coming up, it looked like he wouldn’t be returning. However, it appears he will be back for the match against KKR.

“Yes, Josh will travel to India. We’re currently talking to the authorities about when he will arrive,” a source close to him told the Hindustan Times.
Hazlewood was RCB’s top performer before the break; the shoulder injury was his only concern. He took 18 wickets in 10 matches at an economy rate of 8.44. He missed the CSK match due to that very injury, but it seems like he might be good to go for the rest of the season.
