Karachi Kings came in early Friday morning, announcing that Warner and Vince, two former international cricketers from Australia and England, respectively, will be back for the 2025 Pakistan Super League. All of the foreign players recently fled from Pakistan due to increased tension with India. Alongside Warner and Vince remain Mohammad Nabi (Afghanistan), Tim Seifert (New Zealand), and Ben McDermott (Australia).
Due to the teams facing difficulties with the availability of foreign players who departed after a conflict, the Pakistan Cricket Board is thinking of maybe going with a mini replacement draft for the remaining PSL. To get ready for the league back, the Karachi Kings have also signed George Munsey from Scotland.

The PSL will once again start on the 17th of May, when Peshawar Zalmi will face Karachi at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Then on 19 May, Islamabad United will be up against Karachi for the last league match of the tournament. Karachi is presently second on the points table with 10 from 5 wins out of 8 games, while defending champions Islamabad United also have 10 points but hold 3rd with 5 wins and 4 defeats in 9 games.

The PSL was thought to be shifted to the UAE by the board; however, the proposal was dropped when border tensions rose. According to an official, Multan only has one game left, and since it is not in playoff contention, it cannot really justify bringing back their overseas players.
The official also said that while some teams were successful in getting their foreign players to come back, the majority that had left through Dubai had become reluctant to return so soon after the recent events. With Warner, Vince, Nabi, and Seifert back, Karachi is certainly in a position to have the same playing eleven that faced Lahore Qalandars earlier this month.
