After a wait of almost six years, the Hong Kong Sixes is back with another thrilling season. This will be the 18th edition of the tournament, which will kick off on November 1. It will be a three-day tournament, which will feature 12 teams playing in four different groups of three teams each. The teams to take part in the upcoming Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2024 are Hong Kong, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, England, Nepal, India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Oman, and Sri Lanka.
This tournament is being played in a six-a-side format, and every team will play a five-over match and is hosted in Hong Kong. A total of 23 games will be played in the tournament, and the five-time champion South Africa will defend their title. India have also sent their team for the competition. Notably, the last time India played in a Hong Kong Cricket Sixes tournament was in 2011.
Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2024 (HK6 2024): Teams and Groups
12 teams are taking part in the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2024 (HK6 2024). Four groups will be divided consisting of three teams each. The top two teams from both groups will qualify for the quarterfinal. All these matches will be held at Tin Kwong Road Cricket Ground. India are part of Group or Pool C, along with Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. Here are the four groups and teams to take part in the coming tournament.
