John Hastings, a former Australian fast bowler, had a horror over in a recent game. Australia lost to Pakistan by 10 wickets in the World Championship of Legends T20 in England. On Tuesday, July 29, India’s head coach, Gautam Gambhir, and The Oval’s pitch curator, Lee Fortis, got into a heated argument. Word has it the fight started because Fortis wouldn’t let the visiting team check out the pitch. Things got ugly with some bad language thrown around. Cricket Australia has been told to privatise Big Bash League clubs. This comes after an independent report that followed England’s sale of interests in The Hundred franchises. The Boston Consulting Group advised CA to sell shares in the eight BBL teams to private investors. Currently all eight BBL teams are owned by state teams.
